Creating a goal for a team member
As a manager, you can create goals and assign them to your team members. The creation of goals is based on the selection of a goal plan and a goal type. Goal plans are created to schedule a set of objectives for a given period of time and can be assigned to your entire organization or specific populations. Each goal plan is composed of at least one goal type, which is a category of goal containing additional permissions and assignments.
To create a goal for one or several team members, proceed as follows:
In Passport > Goals, click Create goal at the right side of the screen. The Create goal panel opens on the right. You can also find the Create goal button in the Goals section of Passport > Overview, and under +Create button in the header bar.
In the Goal target section, select Other colleagues. One individual goal is created for each colleague that you select.
Select a goal plan in the Goal plan drop-down list. If only one goal plan is available, it is selected automatically. The goal types available are updated accordingly.
Select a goal type by clicking one of the available goal types.
In the Who do you want to create this goal for? field, search for and select the colleagues or organizational units for which you want to create the goal. To select all your direct reports at once, click Add my direct reports at the top of the list of results.
Click Next. You are redirected to the goal creation page.
