Updating the progress of a goal
As the outcomes of a goal get closer, you can update its progress on the goal page. You can update a goal whose status is In progress. The fields that you can change depend on the permissions defined in the goal type.
To update the progress of a goal, proceed as follows:
Go to Passport > Goals. In the Goal category drop-down list, select My goals or Shared goals, and then select a goal plan in the Goal plan drop-down list.
Locate the goal that you want to update. Click its name. The goal page opens.
In the Status update section, update the following fields as needed:
Status: Select On track, At risk, or Blocked.
Priority: Select High, Medium, or Low, as shown below:
Goal progress update
Overall progress: use the slider to set the progress of the goal. This field can only be changed if the progress tracking method of the goal is Manually. Otherwise, the progress is calculated automatically from the deliverables or the measurement criteria.
In the Measurement criteria section, update the progress of each criterion. For criteria with the Binary unit, select Completed or Not completed.
In the Deliverables section, set the status of each deliverable to Delivered or Not Delivered.
Click Save & exit at the top right of the page. Your changes are saved.
Saving results as a draft
If the goal plan has the Hide goal results until published setting enabled, the results that you enter for your team members’ goals are saved as a draft that only you can see. Workers see the last published values until you publish the results.
To save or publish draft results, proceed as follows:
Update the results and click Save & exit.
Click Keep in draft to save the results without publishing them, or Publish to make them visible to the worker.
If you kept the results in draft, you can publish them at any time. Open the goal, click Publish drafted results in the Status update section, and then confirm.
