beqom PaySuite 26.2 - Feature release notes

This article details the latest improvements introduced in version 26.2 of the beqom PaySuite application, their benefits for our end-users, and their principles of use.

Pay Transparency

New "Not Generated" status in bulk action details

Bulk Action Details previously showed a document as Failed whether generation was attempted and failed, or never attempted at all because required setup was missing. This made it hard to tell a genuine error apart from a configuration gap. A new Not Generated status now appears in Bulk Action Details for documents that were skipped due to missing prerequisites, such as a missing mapping, template, or document configuration, an ineligible worker, or an ambiguous mapping selection. Failed continues to indicate that generation or upload was attempted but ran into an error. Existing items already marked as Failed will keep that status, since the error detail is still available for those. Any status filters or counts on this screen may shift slightly as newly recognized cases move from Failed to Not Generated.

Filter persistence on the pay information request list

Filters applied on the pay information requests list, such as status, search terms, pagination, and sort order, were previously lost whenever a reviewer moved into a request and came back, unless they used the back action. Filters now persist when returning from the Create, View, or Edit pages through Cancel, Close, Save & exit, or Send & close, so the list looks the way it was left instead of resetting. This also holds across multi-step navigation, for example moving from View to Edit and back. Opening a request directly from the sidebar or a deep link still shows the list with no filters pre-applied, so that flow is unchanged.

New "HRBP" option in the Creation type filter

HRBPs (HR business partners) and read-only users could not previously filter pay information requests by whether they were created by an HRBP. The Creation type filter now includes an HRBP option, making it possible to quickly find and manage requests created by HRBPs. The option is available in the Pay Information Requests list under Planner > Pay information > Requests, as well as in the bulk actions view, the Generate documents modal, and the Close & release modal.

RequestDate now date-only, with new RequestTime variable

The RequestDate variable used in generated letters previously included a time stamp even when only the date was needed. RequestDate now displays only the date of the request, and a new RequestTime variable is available for cases where the time is also needed. Both variables follow the date and time format set on the template used, giving more control over what appears in generated letters.

Authorization

Single active session per user, across devices and browsers

Access is hardest to control when the same account can be left open on a shared computer or a forgotten browser. We have added the option to allow only one active session per user in PaySuite. Once it is switched on for a tenant, signing in ends any other session that account already has open, wherever it is, so a person is only ever active in one place at a time. This gives organizations with strict access requirements a simple way to prevent concurrent logins and stay in control of who is signed in.
