beqom PaySuite 28.1 - Detailed release notes

This article lists the new features that have been added to the platform, as well as the bugs that have been corrected in the intermediate 28.1 release of the beqom PaySuite application and in the subsequent patches.

This is an note/information message.

To improve clarity in the detailed release notes and avoid any confusion, starting from version 26.1, the detailed release notes only contain customer impacting information. All tickets regarding internal improvements, technical tasks, and features currently under development are no longer included in the detailed release notes.

	AC-11875	Data Foundation	Under Workbench > Data Management > Data Modeler, users with full access can now duplicate an existing data model regardless of its state (Draft, Ready, Deactivated, In use or not), specifying a new name and description. The new model is created in the Draft status with the same fields, including calculated fields, as the original. Users with read-only or no access cannot duplicate a data model, whether from the UI or the API.
	AC-31856	Pay Transparency	Under Planner > Documents, communication round record lists in both the HRBP and communication manager views now come back in a predictable default order: unread documents first, then by newest generation date, and then by recipient name, with rows that have no document sorted last instead of first. Every column also remains available for manual sorting by clicking its header.
	AC-32201	Compensation Management	Under Workbench > Compensation Management > Compensation Rounds > Budget, Compensation Admins can now define named Budget definitions, each owning its own calculator rules, an aggregation function (Sum, Average, or Count), and a choice between a live worker-level budget or a fixed amount per manager captured on the round's cut-off date. Recalculation can be set to update on every publish or frozen once a round has been published. Budget widgets and save-time validation can also be configured from a Budget definition or independently on their own tabs alongside Planner add-ons in the Team planner view step. Existing legacy per-input budgets are migrated automatically into the new model with no loss of configuration. This release supports bottom-up funding only; top-down funding is not yet available.
	AC-32697	Compensation Management	In the advanced calculation formula editor, budgets are now exposed under a new RoundCalculations.BudgetDefinitions object, listing every budget definition configured on the round by name; the legacy per-compensation-element budget path has been removed from the field picker. Existing formulas that still reference the old path are not automatically migrated and will need to be corrected manually.
	AC-32704	Data Foundation	The Platform Setup > Feature Enablement tab in Workbench is no longer visible to a user whose only role is HRBP, since HRBPs cannot enable or configure platform features. A user who holds another role that independently grants access still sees Platform Setup, and access to other Workbench features for HRBPs remains unaffected.
	AC-32945	Compensation Management	Under Planner > Compensation, the Population panel's and the worker grid's search fields now also match on a worker's External ID, in addition to name; a result matched on External ID shows the ID alongside the name. Searching remains scoped to the selected population node and any active filters.
	AC-32788	Compensation Management	In Planner > Compensation, expand/collapse and resize controls now use distinct icons for what they actually do: an arrow for panels that collapse in place (Workflow strip and budget widgets panel), a sidebar icon for the Population panel, diagonal arrows reserved for resizing a budget widget card, and corner brackets for the grid's full-screen control. Only the icons changed; behavior, position, and default state are the same.
	AC-32897	Data Foundation	The Workbench left-hand navigation menu no longer scrolls back to the top when a user selects an item and the page reloads. The menu's scroll position is now preserved.
	AC-32944	Compensation Management	In the Comp review tab within Planner > Compensation, as well as in the Preview grid in Workbench > Compensation Management > Compensation Rounds > Team planner view, column group labels are now centered over the combined width of their group's visible columns instead of being placed above only the first column. Centering updates automatically as columns are resized, hidden, shown, or reordered, and a group label that proves too long is truncated with an ellipsis and shown in full on hover.
151038	AC-26146	Performance Management	The Feedback Integration API (/integrationapi/v2/data/feedbacks) was not returning the content of the Share your insights field. The underlying data pipeline now includes this content, so both API versions return it correctly; feedback recorded before the fix will show the content only after a per-tenant data reset.
152595,155962	AC-27694	Performance Management	Previously, searching for a worker by first and last name together, for example while managing a Goal Setting or Career Discussion document, returned no results, even though the first name alone matched. The search now sends spaces correctly and no longer produces a mismatched double space in full names, so combined first- and last-name searches return the expected worker.
157803	AC-32751	Data Foundation	Following the R27.1 production deployment, Goals, Performance Reviews, and System Usage & Roles analytics reports in Analytics Hub stopped displaying data while Adoption & Top-Level Summaries, Career Development, and Check-ins reports continued to refresh normally. This has been corrected so all affected reports display data again.
157863	AC-32791	Authorization	While acting on behalf of a proxied user, some role combinations could still see and reach Workbench > Platform Setup > Feature Enablement in non-production environments, where this should not be visible. Missing checks that guard Workbench access during proxy sessions have been added.
