Automated action monitoring
The Automated Action Monitoring page gives you visibility into every automated document generation and close & release action triggered by response automation. This helps you track outcomes, identify failures, and troubleshoot issues.
The page looks as follows:
Automated Action Monitoring
It displays a paginated table of automated actions with the following columns: Action type (Document generation or Close & release), Start, Completion, Status (Not started, In progress, Completed, or Completed with errors), Nb of requests, Success, and Errors.
Automated actions run asynchronously. You can click Refresh on the right above the table to reload the list and see the latest execution statuses.
Filtering automated actions
Click Filters on the left above the table to narrow the list by:
Action type: Document generation or Close & release.
Status: One or more of Not started, In progress, Completed, or Completed with errors.
Errors: No errors or Has errors.
Initiated date range: Using From and To dates.
To set your filters, click Apply. To reset all filter selections, click Clear filters.
Viewing action details
To inspect details of an action, click the three-dot icon in an action's row and then click View. Alternatively, click the name of the action. The following Action details drawer opens:
Drawer with action details
It contains the Basic information section (with the action type, status, number of requests, and success/error counts) and the Requests table listing every request included in the action. For Document generation actions, the Requests table shows Request ID, Worker, Completion, and Action status. For Close & release actions, it additionally includes Communication round and Request status. You can filter this table by typing relevant values in the Worker or Request ID fields, or by selecting options from the Action status (Not started, In progress, Completed, Failed, Not generated) or Attached documents (Not attached, Document generated, Document uploaded) drop-down lists. The Refresh button is also available above the table.
Exporting log details
To download a CSV log for a given action, click the Export log details button in the bottom-right corner of the Action details drawer. This button becomes available after the action has finished running, that is, once its status is Completed or Completed with errors.
The downloaded CSV file includes one row per request in the action, identifying the request and the worker it belongs to, along with its processing outcome and date. For a request that completed successfully, the file also specifies the snapshot, template, and document involved, including the variables used to generate it. For a request that failed or was not generated, it explains why instead, providing the error code and message.
