beqom PaySuite - Experience feature release notes
beqom PaySuite 29.0
Full screen width for Passport and Planner pages
List and table pages in Passport and Planner have been confined to a narrow, fixed content area, leaving sizable margins on the sides of larger screens.
These pages now use the full width available between the side navigation and the window edge. On very wide monitors, the page does not stretch further but centers, so tables and card grids do not spread into unreadable rows. Layouts continue to reflow cleanly at the platform's existing breakpoints, whether the side navigation is expanded or collapsed, and wide tables scroll inside their own containers rather than the page itself scrolling horizontally. Insight rows follow one consistent layout across both Passport and Planner: a fixed-width summary tile beside a card that fills the remaining width and collapses to a single column on narrower screens. Interior forms and reading views, including the feedback view, review forms, and wizards, keep their constrained, readable width. Workbench is unaffected.
By making better use of available screen space while preserving readability, these improvements help users work more efficiently.

Goals tables aligned with the platform's table styling
Previously, the Goals tables in Passport and Planner had styling that differed from PaySuite's standard table cells.
Currently, workers and managers see goal names rendered in the same clickable cells used throughout the application, with consistent sizing, weight, line height, link color, and states. The Owner column contains smaller avatars and plain text to align with the rest of the platform. The extra spacing above the table is no longer there, and the bottom corners follow the card's rounded corners in every state.
In the Planner, the clickable goal name appears in the first column, and Owner in the second. The Total row is left-aligned beneath the Weight column on its own line. We have also integrated the Approve goals row with its corresponding goal row. Column widths are preserved to keep goal names, owner details, and progress information readable. In Passport, the Goal plan drop-down supports searching and filters results as users type.
These changes eliminate small visual inconsistencies and make the information easier to scan.

Profile photo editing moved to Settings
So far, users have changed their profile photos through Company Network, tying photo editing to a feature that may not be enabled for every tenant.
With this release, the Account card in Settings, accessible from the top navigation under the user's name, displays the current profile photo or an initials avatar if no photo is set. A clearly labeled control opens the existing photo-change pop-up. Uploading, replacing, and removing photos work as before, and changes appear in the top-navigation avatar and everywhere else the photo is displayed without requiring a page reload. The new control has also been verified for keyboard and screen-reader accessibility in both light and dark themes.
This provides a consistent way to manage profile photos, even when Company Network or Passport > Overview is disabled for a tenant. The remaining Settings options, including Account links, the email notification toggle, Language & format, and Time zone, stay the same.

Redesigned insights row across the performance pages
We have redesigned the insights row at the top of the performance pages to match the platform's updated design system. Tiles and tips cards are shorter, typography and illustrations have been refreshed, and the tips card's previous and next arrows appear beside the tip text rather than below it.
The changes vary by page:
Passport > Feedback: Only the Feedback received tile remains, positioned beside a wider tips card. The four count tiles for feedback requested, requested by others, sent, and favorites, along with the trend line beneath them, have been removed. The feedback lists further down the page are unchanged.
Planner > Feedback: The Public feedback and Shared tiles have been removed. Manager feedback ratings now appear in the insights row beside Feedback sent, displaying all eight characteristics together. A new Perceived clarity & trust card contains the two perceived-level bars. The company-average marker on these bars is revealed on hover or keyboard focus.
Reviews: The dark tile displays Performance reviews and the total review count. The explanatory sentence, previously shown above it, appears only when the user has no reviews.
Passport > Career Development: Both the My plans and Assigned plans views now feature an insights row with a plans count tile and tailored tips.
Planner > Talent Review: The 9-box grid tile and tips card have been updated to follow the same insights design as the other pages.
Tiles without data display a single contextual message, such as prompting a worker to create their first goal, instead of pairing a label with a zero. The empty states for Manager feedback ratings and Perceived clarity & trust have also been condensed into a single line with a Give feedback button, replacing the previous count-based heading.
These changes create a more consistent experience across the performance pages while making key information easier to scan. Tip content and rotation, along with the tables, filters, and workflows beneath the insights row, stay the same.

Feature toggles grouped by platform area in Feature Enablement
Finding a specific setting on the Feature Enablement page in Workbench > Platform Setup has required administrators to scan a single, ungrouped list of toggles, with no clear indication of which platform area each setting affects.
The page has been rebuilt using the platform's current design system components, and toggles are organized into five labeled sections: Main navigation pages, Pay Management, Pay Transparency, Performance Management, and Pay Intelligence.
This arrangement helps administrators locate settings more quickly and understand which part of the platform each toggle belongs to. The change is presentation-only; feature availability, permissions, and toggle behavior remain unchanged.

Maximize grid for more workspace and persistent budget visibility
The Planner > Compensation grid has gained more room when maximized with the Maximize grid button, as the Population panel, Workflow stages panel, and scope bar are now hidden alongside the page header and round navigation tabs. The grid expands across the browser window, while budget widgets remain visible and fully functional. The budget panel also retains its expanded or collapsed state.
Minimizing the grid restores the previous layout, including scroll position, column widths, and row selection. The Maximize and Minimize tooltips have also been updated to describe the revised behavior.
Managers and HRBPs can therefore see more rows at once while keeping budget information within reach, and then return to their previous workspace without losing their place or selections.

Career plans as Planner's standard table layout
Career Development in the Planner now follows the same table-based approach used for goals, check-ins, documents, and compensation rounds, replacing its separate list view.
The table includes columns for the plan name, worker, start date, end date, status, and stage. Standard pagination makes it easier to navigate the list, and selecting a row opens the plan's details. The empty state also uses the standard component found elsewhere in the Planner.
This allows managers and HRBPs apply familiar table interactions to career plans, making it easier to browse entries, move between pages, and access information about a specific plan.

Visual improvements in Data Management
We have upgraded sorting presentation in the Workers grid in Workbench > Data Management. Sortable headers display a visible affordance, while the active sort column and direction use a clearer, higher-contrast indicator. The default sort is shown on first load, and headers provide a visible keyboard focus state.
The Calculated Fields page has also adopted the standard Data Management page header. Its breadcrumb, title, tab bar, and insight tiles appear against the normal page background rather than a tinted hero band, matching Data Modeler, Snapshot Manager, Exchange Rates Types, and Populations.
Additionally, the Exchange Rates table now displays its full content without truncating values.
Together, these improvements make sorting more discoverable, enhance visual feedback during navigation, and bring the Data Management pages into closer alignment.

Redesigned Behaviors page in Passport
The Behaviors page in Passport has been brought in line with beqom's current design system, replacing an older layout that had drifted from the rest of the product and made behaviors hard to scan.
Each behavior library now appears as its own section, with its name, a short description, and a completion chart showing the percentage of behaviors received. The chart uses the same behavior wheel already found in Passport > Overview, so the two views stay consistent, and a library with no received behaviors yet shows in gray with "0 received behaviors". Behaviors are presented as individual, clickable items rather than a table, and selecting one opens its full description below the list. Longer library and behavior descriptions are shortened with a Show more and Show less control, so a section stays easy to read without losing any detail.
A refreshed empty state and updated visuals carry the new look across the whole page. Which libraries a worker sees, whether assigned company-wide, by org unit, or individually, is unchanged. The redesigned page is available under Passport > Behaviors. The insights area at the top of the page is not part of this update.
