beqom PaySuite 29.2 - Feature release notes
This article details the latest improvements introduced in version 29.2 of the beqom PaySuite application, their benefits for our end-users, and their principles of use.
Compensation Management
New Analytics dashboard in the Planner
Following the progress of a compensation round has required leaving the Planner or exporting data to see budget usage and workflow stages. Planner analytics brings these insights into the round itself.
A new Analytics tab within Planner > Compensation, next to Comp review, Individual view, and Audit trail, provides an aggregated, real-time dashboard for the population in scope. Managers and HRBPs can view the data by actor role, browse by a hierarchy such as line manager, organization, or country, and narrow the view to a single node. All figures update according to the selected scope.
Summary tiles show metrics such as Workflow completion, Input completion, and Off-guideline amounts. The dashboard also includes three widgets:
Budget & spend tracker, with the total budget, amount spent, and amount remaining.
Workflow completion, displaying Completed and Remaining workers and how many are at each step of the current workflow stage.
Spend distribution, breaking spend down by category, with each category's budget, average per worker, and share of budget used.
The dashboard uses the same budget definitions and decimal precision as the Comp review grid, so figures remain consistent between the two views. Managers and HRBPs can also refresh the dashboard on demand.
Administrators configure the dashboard for each actor in the Workbench, under Compensation Management > Compensation Rounds > Actors & round access, on the new Planner analytics tab of the actor's edit drawer. For each role, they select the numeric Inputs in scope, the Summary tiles, and the Budget and Workflow widgets. They also pair each input with the budget definition that funds it. Planner analytics is disabled by default for every actor on both new and existing rounds. The configuration is retained when a round is duplicated and restored automatically when Planner analytics or Round access is switched off and back on, so administrators do not need to configure it again.

Redesign of the Planner Notes tab
Notes explain the reasoning behind compensation proposals, but as they accumulate on a worker during a round, finding a specific note and identifying the compensation element it relates to can take time.
We have redesigned the Notes tab of the worker drawer in the Comp review under Planner > Compensation. Each note appears as a self-contained card, with the comment as its most prominent element. The header shows the author's name, their role in the round, and the note's creation date and time. Edited notes are marked accordingly. A color-coded chip connects the note to its field using the header color of the corresponding Planner column, keeping compensation elements visually consistent between the grid and notes. Notes that justify a proposal also carry a Required or Outside guidelines tag and, where guidelines exist, show the entered value against the allowed range. This way, reviewers can see whether a proposal falls within or outside the guidelines before reading the value itself.
A new toolbar above the list makes larger collections easier to navigate. Notes can be searched by text or author and filtered by field or author. Grouping by field brings all notes for a compensation element together, while a running count shows how many notes match the current criteria.
Writing and updating notes also stays within the worker drawer, keeping managers and HRBPs in context. A note can be linked to any column the user can access, including calculated fields and custom columns, or left unlinked as a general note. Notes written to justify a proposal can be edited but not deleted.
The redesigned cards and toolbar are also available in the Notes tab of the Individual view. Notes can be added and edited while a round is In progress and become view-only when it is Closed. Permissions and note configuration in Workbench remain unchanged: any user with Planner access to a worker can add a note, and only its author can edit or delete it.

Performance Management
Manager and Manager status sorting in Talent Review
So far, large Talent Review populations have been ordered only by worker name, making it harder to locate one manager's team or identify ratings ready for calibration. The Filters pop-up could narrow the list, but only by hiding the rest of the population.
Under Planner > Talent Review, the Manager and Manager status columns of the Talent review data table are currently sortable in HRBP working mode, including in closed reviews and after an HRBP submission. Talent HRBPs can therefore sort by Manager to list teams alphabetically by manager name. Each manager's team then forms one continuous block. In contrast, sorting by Manager status orders workers by the progress of the manager workflow: Not started, In progress, or Submitted. A descending sort on Manager status puts submitted ratings ready for HR calibration on the first page. Within each team or status, workers stay in alphabetical order.
The sort order applies across every page of the table and works together with the existing search and Filter by manager option, while continuing to respect each user's access scope.
Sorting changes the table view only. HR ratings remain editable, the 9-box grid is unaffected, and reopening or reloading the page restores the default order by worker name.

Job Title aligned with the role at the time of review in PDFs
Previously, review PDFs showed the worker's current Job Title, which could result in a past review displaying a role the worker took on later. For example, a worker who was a QA Engineer when a review was completed but is now a Product Manager saw "Product Manager" in that earlier review.
Review PDFs generated from Passport > Reviews or from the Workbench > Performance Management > Performance Review Templates HR portal now show the Job Title the worker held when the manager submitted the review, or when the review closed if the manager never submitted. The manager's comments and, for a Year-End Review, the ratings were provided in relation to that job, so the document now reflects the role associated with the review. The title comes from the employment history held in Data Foundation for the relevant date.
Later modifications to the worker's profile do not alter the Job Title in an existing review, and every role sees the same title for a given review. While a review is in progress, the PDF continues to show the current title. Reopening a review also makes the current title appear again until the next submission or close. The change applies to both Year-End Review and Goal setting documents.
Reviews imported through Historical Performance Rating Upload do not show a Job Title. If no title is recorded for the review date, the line is omitted rather than populated with the current title. The review form in the application itself continues to show the current Job Title.
Pay Transparency
Export option for the Documents Audit trail
Organizations preparing for pay transparency requirements need to demonstrate how pay documents were shared and who acted on them, often to reviewers who do not work in the platform. Building on the global audit trail introduced in the previous release, we have added an Export option to the Audit trail tab of each communication round under Planner > Documents. This allows the record to be taken into governance reviews and audits without manual collection.
The export covers the round's audit activity and respects the filters currently applied on the page. It includes only workers the user is authorized to see. Each entry contains the action date, user who performed the action, action type, document, and worker concerned, with additional details where available. Worker ID and full name are provided as separate fields.
Before downloading, managers and HRBPs enter a file name and password. The audit trail is delivered as a CSV file inside a password-protected ZIP, so it can be shared while the data remains protected. Each export contains the 30,000 most recent entries. For larger logs, filters can be applied first to narrow the selection and access older activity.
