Viewing my goals
When opening the Goals tab in Passport, you are redirected to the My goals section.
At the top of the page, a summary tile shows with the number of your goals. There is also a tips panel that provides guidance to help you set impactful goals. You can go through the tips using the navigation arrows.
Below, you can select a goal plan in the Goal plan drop-down list and search for a goal by name. The goals that you own in the selected goal plan are displayed in the following groups:
Action required – goals that require an action from you or your manager, that is, draft goals, goals pending approval, and rejected goals. In this group, the Status column replaces the Progress column.
Individual goals – goals that you own and need to work on
One group for each organizational goal type, named after the goal type
Each group presents the following information:
Goal – the name of the goal, displayed as a clickable link that opens the goal
Type – the goal type, represented by an icon with the name revealed on hover
Progress – the progress of the goal, in percentage
Tracking status – Completed, On track, At risk, or Blocked
Priority – High, Medium, or Low
Due date – the date at which the goal is due
Weight – the percentage goal weight
Three-dot icon – quick access to the Reopen, View, Edit goal details, and Delete options, available based on the goal status and your permissions
If goal weighting is enabled in the goal plan, a Total row under each group shows the total weight of its goals. If the total exceeds 100%, you will see a warning. Depending on the goal type permissions, you can change the weight of a goal directly in the Weight column, except for completed goals.
To switch to the goals shared with you, use the Goal category drop-down list above the goals. By default, the page shows My goals, but you can also select Shared goals, which we describe in Viewing shared goals.
To view one of your goals, proceed as follows:
Select a goal plan using the Goal plan drop-down list above the My goals table. To find a plan quickly, start typing its name in the drop-down. The list of goal plans is filtered as you type.
In the table, find the goal that you want to view.
Click the name of the goal, as illustrated in the following figure:
Viewing individual goals
You are redirected either to the Goal overview page, with the goal details in read-only mode (published goals), or to the Edit goal page (draft goals).
Alternatively, for published goals, you can click the three-dot icon in the goals table and choose View from the menu.

The side panel of the page shows the Details of the goal (status and due date), its Participants (creator and owner), and the Goal chat, where you can discuss the goal.
The three-dot icon at the top right of the page gives access to other actions, such as Edit goal details, Reopen, Generate PDF, Copy goal, or Delete, which depend on the status of the goal and on your permissions.
Progress trail
If you are the owner of the goal or the manager of its owner, you can use the drop-down list at the top left of the goal page to switch between Goal overview and Progress trail.
The Progress trail view includes the Audit trail of the goal, which records each step of its lifecycle, such as its creation, approval, or completion, and every update to its content. For organizational goals, it also records changes to the population and to individual participants.
Each entry shows who did what and when, as well as details such as the previous and new values or the comment added on approval or rejection.
